You will marvel at expressions of art, nature and tradition complementing the breathtaking views of the great outdoors. Sculptures from life-size to miniature in a variety of media are on display. The museum also offers shopping opportunities. The Museum Store is filled with exquisite items which include collectible hand-made art, decoys, jewelry, bird watching items, books and a nicely stocked children section. The store also has Ward Museum, Salisbury and Salisbury University T-shirts, hats, mugs and more.
In addition to ample parking, the museum offers a self-guided nature trail, large picnic and observation deck overlooking Schumaker Pond, interactive children’s theatre and store. The Ward Museum is located a short distance from the Salisbury Zoo. Special tour rates for groups of 15 or more (pre-registration is required).
